Eagles to Face Colorado State in Hall of Fame Classic Opener

CBS Sports Network will air all games of the MTE, held Nov. 22-23 in Kansas City, Mo.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The matchups for the 2023 Hall of Fame Classic are set and Boston College will begin play in the multi-team event on Wednesday, Nov. 22 against Colorado State.
The Eagles and Rams will tip off at 1:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. local at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. BC will face either Creighton and Loyola Chicago the following day on Thanksgiving - Nov. 23. All games in the 2023 Hall of Fame Classic will air live nationally on CBS Sports Network.
BC has faced Colorado State twice previously, with both games played at Madison Square Garden. BC earned an 86-64 win over CSU on Dec, 27, 1965 in the ECAC Holiday Festival. Colorado State edged the Eagles, 58-57, in the NIT consolation game on March 30, 1988.
On the other side of the bracket, Boston College is a combined 1-1 against its two potential Jesuit opponents. BC holds a 1-0 record against Loyola Chicago, earning a 78-66 win over the Ramblers in the title game of the inaugural Fort Myers Tip-Off Classic on Nov. 21, 2018. The Eagles are 0-1 against Creighton, falling 62-61 on Dec. 28, 1974 in the Far West Classic in Portland, Ore.
