
Boston College to Play at Vanderbilt in ACC/SEC Challenge

Eagles and Commodores will play on Nov. 29 in Nashville
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College will travel to Vanderbilt as part of the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge, it was announced this morning by ESPN.  The Eagles and Commodores will face off on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Memorial Gymnasium.  Tipoff is set for 9:15 p.m. ET.
The ACC/SEC Challenge will feature games broadcasted across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, and SEC Network. Coverage details, including platform designations and commentator information, will be announced in the Fall.
The all-time series between BC and Vanderbilt is tied at 4-4, with the last meeting coming on Dec. 30, 2000 - a 97-74 win at Conte Forum for the Eagles. Â BC is 2-3 all-time at Vanderbilt.
The last regular season matchup against an SEC opponent came on Dec. 3, 2020 when BC faced Florida in the Roman Legends Classic held at Mohegan Sun Arena, as part of Bubbleville.  The Eagles are 12-11 versus teams currently in the SEC.  The last victory over an SEC foe came on Dec. 12, 2016 against Auburn, 72-71, at Madison Square Garden.
Season tickets for the 2023-24 Boston College men's basketball season are now on sale. Â Full season packages start as low as $99 for adults, $50 for children, and are available at all price levels, including the lower bowl.
The Eagles' full home slate - including dates and opponents - will be announced at a later date. Â Boston College will host 10 ACC opponents, including matchups with Final Four participant Miami, as well as Virginia, Pitt, Wake Forest, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Florida State, Louisville, and North Carolina.
