
Mitchell Qualifies for NCAA Outdoor Championships, Set to Run in 800m Semifinals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Boston College women's track & field team saw one of four Eagles qualify for the NCAA Championships this weekend at the NCAA East Regionals.
Katherine Mitchell entered the week looking to end her fantastic collegiate career on her own terms, placing second in the first round with a time of 2:02.65 on Thursday. Mitchell would carry her momentum into Saturday - placing sixth overall in the quarterfinals (2:04.39) to secure one-of-twelve bids to the NCAA Championships from the East region.
Junior Kyla Krawczyk was also in action on Thursday - unfortunately falling short of qualification in the first round of the Women's 400m Hurdles.
Sarah Flynn closed out her Senior season with a 35th-place finish overall in the Women's 3000m Steeplechase Quarterfinals. Flynn completed the course in 10:40.18.
Paige Carter wrapped up BC's weekend in the Women's 5000m Semifinals, placing 45th with a time of 17:14.05.
