Eagles win 2V4 Petite Final, 2V8 & 3V8 3rd Level Finals at Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team competed in the last regatta of the regular season at the Eastern Sprints this Sunday. The event also served as BC's inaugural Red Bandanna Regatta in honor of Welles Crowther.
The Eagles saved their best for last, with each boat recording their best times in their final round of competition. Boston College's 2V4 claimed victory in the petite final with a time of 7:39.84 after their heat one performance (7:42.32) earned them the last qualifying spot.
BC's 2V8 (6:51.31) and 3V8 (7:01.26) secured first place in their respective third level final rounds. The V4 boat also put together a strong performance in their third level final, falling just behind Cornell to place second with the Eagles' best V4 time of the day (7:34.35).
The V8 boat recorded the best time of the weekend for Boston College with a time of 6:42.81 in the third level final. BC fell just short of a top three finish in the final round, completing the course within a second behind third-place Cornell.
