BC Ties for 16th at Lake Wheeler Invitational

RALEIGH, N.C – The Boston College rowing team tied for 16th overall at the Lake Wheeler Invitational this past weekend.
Duke claimed the team victory, accumulating 88 points over the course of three rounds. Syracuse fell just short with 86 points, followed by Pennsylvania with 82.
BC's Varsity 8+ boat recorded two, sub-seven minute performances including a weekend-best time of 6:43.688 in the first round. The Eagles 2V8 boat also ended round one with a 6:48.664 finish.
The V4 scored one of the top finishes for BC - with their fourth-place, round one performance falling just 2.158 seconds short of scoring team points for the Eagles. The 2V4 also secured fourth in two-of-three races on the weekend.
