BC gets their 20th win on a season-high 11 hits
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass – Boston College took down Providence on Wednesday evening. The Eagles now hold a 20-22 record while the Friars go to 12-25.Â
The Eagles found their confidence at the plate against Providence today, they recorded a season-high 11 hits, including a three run home run from Junior Nicole Giery and a two run shot from Senior Gianna Sarlo. This was Sarlo's first home run of the season and Giery's fourth. The Junior has been on a roll lately recording one or more hits in the last five straight games.Â
Graduate pitcher Susannah Anderson had one of her best outings in the circle of the season, she pitched a complete game, recording nine strikeouts and allowing just one hit in 22 total at bats.Â
Next up for BC Softball is the Notre Dame Irish for a three game series this weekend beginning on Friday at 6 p.m EST.Â
