Ryan Ho named Northeast Fencing Conference Fencer of the Year, Four Eagles to All-Star Team

NFC announces BC's Ryan Ho as Fencer of the Year and Sanjeet Brar, Balint Czaha, Anisha Kundu and Isabella Zielinski NFC All-Stars

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS-- The Northeast Fencing Conference announced their season awards this week. Sophomore Foil Ryan Ho was named Fencer of The Year and Sanjeet Brar, Balint Czaha, Anisha Kundu and Isabella Zielinski were all named to the NFC All-Star Team.

Ho had an impressive record of 23 victories in 24 bouts, good for a 95.8 victory percentage, which was the best in the conference for Men's Foil. Sanjeet Brar and Balint Czaha were both in the top five in the NFC standings for Men's Sabre, Brar had 27 victories in 31 bouts (87.1%) and Czaha won 22 of his 29 bouts (75.9%). For Women's Epee, Anisha Kundu won 30 of her 40 bouts (75%) and for Women's Sabre, Isabella Zielinski had 27 victiories in 32 bouts (84.4%).

BC Fencing will now begin to prepare for the ACC Championships which will be hosted right here on The Heights at Margot Connell Recreation Center on February 25.
