Eagles Drop Rematch Against FAU

BOCA RATON, FLA-- Boston College lost to Florida Atlantic 4-3 on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles move to a 7-6 overall record on the season while the Owls improve to 8-6.Â
After both sides went scoreless through three innings, FAU got their offense going with a three run fourth inning.  BC responded in the fifth inning with two runs of their own off some nice base running from Junior Elisabeth Laviolette and Sophomore Kali Case.The Eagles then were able to tie up the game in the seventh inning off a base hit from Senior Abigail Knight to bring Kali Case home once again.Â
Then in the bottom of the seventh, FAU managed to seal the game off an error from the BC defense that brought Sommer Baker home to win it for the Owls.Â
BC will be back in action later tonight against VillanovaÂ
