Smith Leads Eagles in Slalom at Harvard Carnival

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. – Spencer Smith led the Boston College skiing team with 13th overall in the men's slalom over the weekend at the Harvard Carnival, hosted at Waterville Valley.
Smith earned his best career finish with the Eagles and led the men's team to seventh place in the slalom. Freshmen Bode Flanigan (24th) and Ryan Bianchi (25th) also placed in the top-25, combining for 35 EISA points.
In Friday's giant slalom under tough conditions, Chiara Maria Ferrari finished 23rd overall for 19 EISA points. Lauren Hunter finished 39th in the women's slalom to lead the team.
Boston College competes in the Williams Carnival this weekend at Jiminy Peak.
