Boston College Softball Announces 2024 Spring Schedule

Home opener set for March 12 against Stonehill
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- Boston College head softball coach Amy Kvilhaug announced the Eagles' 2024 schedule on Monday afternoon. Softball opens its season with the five-game FGCU tournament from February 8-10 in Fort Myers, Fla. Â
Softball's road trip will continue with the next two weeks in Florida, with a five-game USF tournament from February 15-17 in Tampa, Fla. with games slated against UIC, USF, Hoftstra, and Purdue in the tournament. Softball will travel to Boca Raton for the five-game FAU tournament from February 22-24.Â
Conference play will commence with a three-game series at the University of Virginia from March 1-3, before the Eagles take on two mid-week contests on the road against George Washington (3/5) and Georgetown (3/6).
The road trip continues into week five, with a three-game series against Maryland set for March 8-10, just before the Boston College home opener against Stonehill on Tuesday, March 12 at the Harrington Athletics Village. Softball will remain home for the Eagle Round Robin from March 15-17, featuring games against Holy Cross and Iona. A single match-up with Maine follows on 3/19.
The remaining home schedule features conference series against Syracuse (3/22-3/24), Pittsburgh (4/5- 4/7), FSU (4/19-4/21), and Louisville (5/3-5/5).
