Pyne and Newhook score for the Eagles on Friday night
MADISON, Wis. – Boston College women's hockey fell to No. 1 Wisconsin 12-2 on Friday night at LaBahn Arena.
The Badgers took a 1-0 lead late in the first period, and then doubled it a minute later to make it 2-0 entering the first intermission. Wisconsin then tacked on four more scores in the second frame. The Eagles added a goal late in the second when Katie Pyne scored to make it 6-1 Badgers going into the final period. Wisconsin added six more goals in the third, while Abby Newhook also added a goal for the Eagles in the final frame.
