Eagles Ranked No. 1 Nationally in Both Polls

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's hockey has been ranked No. 1 in the nation in Monday's USCHO.com and USA Hockey/The Rink Live polls.
The Eagles are the top-ranked team in the country for the first time since March 15, 2021 during the Hockey East Tournament.
BC is 5-1-0 on the season after a two-game sweep of No. 7 Michigan State last Thursday and Friday on the Heights. The Eagles have also recorded wins over defending NCAA champion Quinnipiac, LIU and RPI.
Boston College opens Hockey East play this weekend with a home-and-home series against UMass Lowell, beginning on Friday night at Kelley Rink on NESN at 7 p.m.
