No. 3 Eagles Host RPI and No. 2 Denver This Weekend

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Third-ranked Boston College continues a six-game homestand at Kelley Rink on Friday night when it plays host to RPI at 7 p.m., then faces No. 2 Denver on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games will air live on ESPN+ with radio coverage on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.com. THE RANKINGS
• Boston College has moved up to No. 3 nationally in both the USCHO.com and USA Hockey / The Rink Live polls after starting the year sixth in each poll
• Saturday night will mark the first top-3 matchup at Conte Forum since No. 3 Denver defeated top-ranked BC 4-2 on Oct. 14, 2011 before a sellout crowd of 7,884
• Boston College went on to win the national championship that season
HOME SWEET HOME
• Boston College scored four unanswered goals and came back to beat Long Island 4-2 last Friday night in front of more than 7,300 fans in its home opener at an electric Kelley Rink

• As a freshman last season, Gasseau ranked tied for third on the team with 29 points and was sixth among Hockey East freshmen in points per game
• Gasseau was honored with the team's Bernie Burke Outstanding Freshman Award
CUT IT OUT
• Cutter Gauthier leads the team with 19 shots on goal through two games, including a career-high 11 shots last time out against Long Island
• Voted team MVP as a freshman, Gauthier was a Hockey East Third Team All-Star and a unanimous selection to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team
• Gauthier led the team with 37 points on 16 goals and 21 assists in 32 contests
• He was tied for second in Hockey East with seven power play goals and closed the regular season ranked third in the league in goals per game
THE CENTURY MARK
• Seniors Colby Ambrosio and Eamon Powell both played in their 100th career games on the exact same night last Friday in the home opener at Kelley Rink
• In 200 total games on the Heights, the duo has combined for 103 points
