» Boston College returns to action for the second half of its season beginning at Georgia Tech Saturday, Oct. 21 for a Noon ET kickoff.
» Saturday’s game will be broadcast nationally on ACC Network. Chris Cotter (play-by-play) and former BC linebacker Mark Herzlich (analyst) are in the booth with Sherree Burruss (reporter) on the sidelines.
» Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 93.7 FM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and quarterback Scott Mutryn on the sideline.
» Boston College trails the all-time series, 4-7, in 2021; a 41-30 Eagle victory. BC is 3-3 all-time against the Yellow Jackets on the road.
» The series started in 1972 with Georgia Tech home victory. The Eagles have won two of three road games since joining the ACC.
» Boston College started the season 1-3 for the second consecutive year and fifth time since 2011. The Eagles last rallied from 1-3 to reach a bowl game in 2017.
» Quarterback Thomas Castellanos ranks third in the country for rushing yards by a QB at 512. With 1,143 passing yards, he is one of three QBs in the country with 1,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards. He is tied for the FBS lead in QB rushing TDs at seven.
» Wide receiver Ryan O’Keefe surpassed 200 career catches vs. Virginia and sits at 207, 10th most in FBS among active players.
» O’Keefe suffered a neck injury during the fourth quarter of a week-five win over UVA. He returned to campus on Sunday from Mass General following tests and observation on Saturday night.
» Lewis Bond is BC’s top receiver at 356 yards on 24 receptions and five touchdowns, which is third in the ACC, 26th in FBS.
