Men's Soccer Suffers Setback at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Boston College men's soccer fell a 1-0 setback to Louisville on Friday evening at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.
The Eagles fall to 3-6-4 and 0-4-2 in ACC play, while the Cardinals are 8-3-2 and 2-3-1 in league action.
Boston College and Louisville remained scoreless until the 28th minute when the Cardinals claimed a 1-0 edge.
Alfie Hughes looked to tie things up later in the half, but his shot on goal was saved by the Louisville keeper, leading to the one-goal lead for the visitors.
Louisville held the BC offense at bay in the second half after Ted Cargill's shot on goal early in the second half was stopped.
Augustine Boadi led the team with four shot attempts, while BC totaled 12 shots. Brennan Klein totaled three saves in 90 minutes of action.
Boston College returns to action on Tuesday in a home contest against Stonehill at 5:30 p.m.
