BC will play take on its first road test and ranked opponent on Friday night.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The #15/14 Boston College women's hockey team will return to the ice on Friday night, traveling to Quinnipiac for a non-conference game at Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena.

• The Bobcats opened up the 2022-23 season last weekend with a pair of games at Maine ... Quinnipiac topped Maine 3-2 in the opener on Friday night and followed it up with a 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon.
• Olivia Mobley (1-3-4) racked up four points on the weekend to lead the team while Lexie Adzija (2-1-3) had a three-point series.
• Catie Boudiette and Logan Angers both started a game for the Bobcats ... Boudiette had a 26-save shutout while Angers made 18 saves in an overtime win.
• Mobley led Quinnipiac in scoring a season ago with 34 points on 17 goals and 17 assists.
• The Bobcats went 26-10-3 overall last year, advancing to the NCAA Regional round where it fell to eventual national champion Ohio State, 4-3, in double overtime.
• Cassandra Turner is in her eighth season as head coach of the Bobcats and her 14th overall season with the program.

• Friday's game marks the 27th meetings all time between the two programs ... BC and Quinnipiac played at least once every year from 2001 through 2014-15 before taking a break in the series in 2015-16 ... the teams then played again in 2016-17 and 2017-18.

• Keri Clougherty led all Hockey East rookies with 56 blocked shots in the 2021-22 season.
• Boston College women's hockey is the only Hockey East program, men's or women's, to finish in the top four of the standings every single season since 2010-11.
• With the start of the 2022-23 season, Boston College will embark on the 29th season of varsity play.
