UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Boston College placed third at the Nittany Lion Invitational - only one shot out of second place. The Eagles compiled a 54-hole team score of 878 (286-296-296).
Cynthia Zhang led BC, tying for seventh place overall (218, +2). Zhang carded a pair of 71's during Saturday's opening two rounds of play, before closing the tournament out with a final round 76.
Canice Screen finished one shot behind Zhang, with a total score of 219 (68-74-77). Eubin Shim tied for 22nd (222, +6) thanks to a 2-under par 70 during Sunday's final round of play. Estelle Seon tied for 25th place (70-76-78=224, +8), while Stephany Kim closed out the weekend strong, with a 1-over par 73 during the third and final round. She tied for 51st place (78-80-73=231, +15). Angel Lin competed as an individual, tying for 60th place (75-78-79=232, +16).
