CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will continue with non-conference play this weekend, hosting Holy Cross at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Newton Campus Soccer Field. The game will air live on ACCNX.

• Overall, five different Eagles have scored in Emily Sapienza, Ella Richards, Andi Barth, Claire Mensi and Sam Smith ... Richards also has one assist.
• Riley Kerber has two assists while Éabha O'Mahony and Laura Gouvin each have one.

• Francesca Ciatto has scored the lone run-of-play goal for the Crusaders, with the team also being credited with a goal ... Samantha Adams has one assist.
• Goalkeepers Olivia Dubin and Izzy Castagnetti have both seen time ... Dubin has played two games, going 0-1-1 with a 0.50 goals against average, .889 save percentage, eight saves and one shutout ... Castagnetti is 0-0-1 with a .600 save percentage, 2.00 goals against average and three saves.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST HOLY CROSS
• The first-ever meeting between the Crusaders and Eagles came on Sept. 28, 1983 ... BC earned a 5-0 home win.

2022 CAPTAINS
• The Eagles are captained this season by a trio of seniors in Michela Agresti, Samantha Agresti and Sam Smith.
• This is the second consecutive season that Michela Agresti is wearing an armband, while Samantha Agresti and Smith are first-year captains.
• Michela Agresti has started all 53 contests that BC has played over the last three years … the defender has led the Eagles in minutes played in each of her first three seasons.
• Samantha Agresti has played in all 53 of BC's contests over the last three seasons … as a junior, the midfielder finished fourth on the team in scoring with four goals and four assists for 12 points.

• Ella Richards is the second active leading scorer with 23 career points ... she has one goal and one assist this season to go with a team-leading eight goals and four assists as a rookie last year.
• With 17 points on five goals and seven assists, Samantha Agresti ranks third among active Eagles while Laura Gouvin's five goals and three assists for 13 points ranks fourth.

NEW FACES
• The 2022 Boston College women's soccer roster features 13 players who weren't on the 2021 roster, including nine freshmen.
• Claire Mensi and Alycia Morin come to the Heights as graduate transfers, with Mensi playing four years at Bucknell and Morin three years at Bishop's University (Quebec).
• The Eagles also had two players join the roster in January in junior Emily Sapienza, a transfer from Rutgers, and sophomore Jordan Teguis, a mid-year addition from the club team.
• Additionally, the Eagles have welcomed a new assistant coach in Dirk Vandeveer.

INTERNATIONAL APPEAL
• The Eagles are a diverse group, having five different countries and 11 different states represented on the team roster of 27.
• The most represented state for BC is Massachusetts, which is called home by six players, while California has four representatives on the 2022 roster.
