
Irlbacher, Lin Named to 2022 All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team

Eagles' duo shined on the course and in the classroom during the past year
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Nathalie Irlbacher and Angel Lin were honored by the ACC as they were named to the 2022 All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team, it was announced today.
Irlbacher, a senior who graduated this past May with a degree in general management, led Boston College with two victories this season, capturing the Yale Invitational in the fall and the Briar's Creek Invitational in the spring. She posted two top-five and five top 10 finishes in nine tournaments played. She led BC and ranked 20th in the ACC in stroke average (73.60) - including a career-low round of 65 at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek.
Lin ranked second on the Eagles - and 32nd in the conference - in stroke average, posting an average round score of 74.61 in eight tournaments (23 rounds). Lin posted one top five finish, finishing fifth at the Tulane Classic in February. In total in 2021-22, the sophomore registered two top 10 and four top 20 finishes.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
