North Collects IWLCA Division I Player and Attacker of the Year Awards

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Â Boston College women's lacrosse attacker Charlotte North was named the IWLCA Player of the Year and Attacker of the Year for the second straight season, as announced on Wednesday.
North turned in a stellar final season with the Eagles, where she led the team with 92 goals, a career-high 115 points, and 139 draw controls. She was third in the country in goals, fifth in points, and fourth in draw controls.Â
The attacker for BC helped the Eagles earn a 19-4 mark and a fifth straight national championship appearance. She was named a First-Team IWLCA All-American, Inside Lacrosse/IL Women First-Team All-American, USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American, and is one of five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award.Â
She turned in 16 hat tricks, including eight games with at least five scores. North is one of three players with at least 80 goals and 100 draw controls on the season.Â
The Dallas, Texas native finished the season as the all-time NCAA leader with 358 goals, has 433 points, and is ninth in draw controls with 373. She was recently selected as the first pick in the 2022 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse College Draft on Tuesday. She'll have a chance to earn a second straight Tewaaraton award.Â
