Mitchell Advances to Saturday's 800m Final at ACC's

Wins her qualifying heat in 2:06.69

DURHAM, N.C. — Katherine Mitchell blazed to the finals of the 800m on day two of the 2022 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, held at the Morris Williams Stadium on the campus of Duke University. Mitchell won the second qualifying heat of the 800m in a time of 2:06.69. Marne Sullivan clocked a season-best 2:07.77, finishing 13th. The finals of the 800m will be held on Saturday at 6:40 p.m.

On Thursday, Anna Cleary ran a personal-best 1:01.90 in the 400m hurdles, placing ninth and narrowly missing advancing to the finals.
