April 11, 2022 | Men's Hockey
BOSTON – Senior assistant captain Jack McBain has been named a CCM Second Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).
Despite missing 14 games due to injury and his selection to Team Canada for the Olympic Games, McBain ranked fourth in Hockey East with a career-best 19 goals and led the league in points per game (1.37) with 33 in his 24 contests.
McBain was tied for third in Hockey East in both game-winning goals (4) and power play goals (6). The forward more than tripled his previous career-high in goals (6) and put together a career-high seven-game goal scoring streak that was finally snapped in the Hockey East Quarterfinal.
The Toronto native closed his senior season with a plus-13 rating and finished his four-year Boston College career with 86 points in 117 contests.
Originally drafted in the third round by the Minnesota Wild, McBain signed an NHL entry level contract with the Arizona Coyotes on March 23.
