WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- The No. 18 Duke Blue Devils defeated the Eagles 7-0 on Friday night in Weymouth, pushing their record to 4-7 following a 7-0 win over UT Dallas to cap their road trip last week. The doubles pair of Jake Vassel and Mason Fung jumped out to a 5-4 lead in their match before it ended early, as Duke took the doubles point on the other two courts. Vassel took Niroop Vallabhaneni to a first set tiebreak before falling 7-5, 6-4 in his singles match.Â
The UNC Tar Heels will come to town for a Sunday morning tilt back in Weymouth.Â
