Senior registers her second victory of 2021-22; Boston College finishes fifth as a team
JOHN'S ISLAND, S.C. -- Nathalie Irlbacher used a tournament-low round of 65 to propel her to a one-shot victory at the Briar's Creek Invitational.
Irlbacher's career-low round featured eight birdies, nine pars, and one bogey. She was 5-under on the back nine, carding a 31. For the tournament, Irlbacher ranked second in the field in birdies (13), playing the par five holes at a total of 6-under and the par four holes at 1-under. It is her second win of the 2021-22 season and third career victory.
Boston College finished fifth, with a team score of 881 (304-283-294).
