DMR Clocks Second-Best Time in School History at Armory

Quartet of Oeser/Krawczyk/Mitchell/White runs 11:11.37 - the 11th-fastest time in the country
NEW YORK CITY -- Day one of competition at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge saw Boston College's distance medley relay team run the second-fastest time in school history.Â
The quartet of Anna Oeser (1,200m - 3:29.14), Kyla Krawczyk (400m - 55.75), Kate Mitchell (800m - 2:06.78), and Lauren White (mile - 4:39.68) finished second overall in a time of 11:11.37. It is currently the 11th-best performance in the country this season.
Isabella Bruno registered the eighth-best performance in BC history in the long jump, with a leap of 5.61m (18'5.0"). Bruno finished 11th overall in the event.
Caroline McClelland ran an indoor personal-best 17:38.97 in the 5,000m, finishing second overall.
Competition for the Eagles continues on Saturday with a full slate of events, beginning with the pentathlon at 8:45 a.m. The meet is being held at the famed Armory Track & Field Center.
