Eagles Head to Durham for ACC Fencing Championships

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -Â The Boston College fencing team travels to Durham, N.C. for the 18th edition of the ACC Fencing Championships hosted by Duke this weekend.
The Eagles last competed at the Duke Invitational two weeks ago, where the men pulled off a 14-13 upset over then No. 9 Duke. The men competed on the first day earning a pair of victories, highlighted by a thrilling 14-13 triumph over No. 9 North Carolina. BC was down 13-10 before storming back thanks to four straight from the men's saber to clinch the showdown. It was highlighted by Spencer Kuldell's victory that sealed the triumph. The Eagles followed that performance with a 14-13 triumph over Johns Hopkins. The women participated on the second day and picked up a win in the final round against Air Force.Â
