BC to Host Maine in Hockey East Tournament Quarterfinal

Boston College will host the University of Maine in a Hockey East Tournament quarterfinal tilt on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team will host the University of Maine in a Hockey East Tournament quarterfinal tilt on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.

Puck drop for the single-elimination game between the fourth-seeded Eagles and fifth-seeded Black Bears is set for 1 p.m., and the contest will air live on NESN. All Hockey East games this season will be made available across the U.S. and internationally on SportsLive, while all games televised on NESN and NESN+ and other select matchups will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.Â

The 2022 Hockey East Tournament will be single-elimination format with each game hosted at the home arena of the higher seed. Semifinals will take place on Wednesday, March 2 and the championship game will be held on Saturday, March 5 to determine the winner of the Bertagna Trophy and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
