Eagles Defeat Brown For First Time Since 2010 For Second Straight

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- For the first time in twelve years, the Eagles defeated Brown, winning handily 5-2 on Wednesday night. After dropping two matches to open the spring, the Eagles have pulled back to .500 on the season with a pair of decisive victories over Siena and Brown.

The momentum started early with a sweep of the doubles matches, including a 6-3 win for Max Motlagh and Juan Jose Bianchi, who landed at No. 21 on ITA's Division One Doubles Rankings yesterday. The pairs of Mason Fung and Jake Vassel, and Will Kasten and Oliver Worth, each added 6-3 wins to take the doubles point.

Motlagh, Worth, Kasten, and Bianchi all added singles wins in straight sets to take down the Bears.

The Eagles will resume action on February 26th at Wake Forest after Monday's match against Babson was cancelled.
