Redshirt-freshman center an honorable mention by College Football News.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College redshirt-freshman center Drew Kendall (Norwell, Mass.) was named a College Football News Freshman All-America honorable mention selection on Tuesday. Kendall, who appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2021, took over as the Eagles' starting center in 2022.
Â
Kendall started 11 of 12 games at center this season, missing one start with a broken wrist and returning to play with a club on his left hand. Despite the one missed game, he was a mainstay in a lineup that started nine different players and used nine different starting combinations. His 11 starts at center were the most at any one position by an Eagle.
