
Eagles Start the 2022-23 Indoor Track & Field Season at BU

BOSTON – The Boston College men's indoor track and field team began their 2022-23 season at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in the BU Track & Tennis Center on Saturday, December 3.
Cruz Brown led all individual participants with a third-place finish in the 1000M run with a time of 2:26.92. He was directly followed by Edward Tristine (2:28.33), Ryan Murray (2:31.23) and Eero Helenius (2:32.30) - who placed third-to-sixth respectively. Colin Shaver (2:38.20) rounded out the BC finishers for the event with an eight-place finish.
The men's side saw eight individual top-10 finishes, while the 4x400M relay team featuring Max McQuide, Eddie Kelly, Stephen Colleran, and Spencer Pett finished in second place with a time of 3:20.22.Â
Kelly, Colleran, and McQuide each put together strong individual performances as well - placing fifth in the 600M, 10th in the 600M, and 13th in the 300M respectively. Friend Weiler IIIÂ completes the list of Eagles top-10 finishers with a ninth-place performance in the 600M with a time of 1:22.64.
