BC Baseball Reveals 2023 Schedule

Eagles’ 56-game schedule starts Feb. 17 in Malibu.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College head baseball coach Mike Gambino announced the Eagles' 2023 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. BC opens its season Feb. 17 at Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif. on opening day to begin off a three-game series.

The second weekend of the season features three neutral site games against Rutgers (Feb. 24), Ball State (Feb. 25) and Kent State (Feb. 26). All three games will be played at Shipyard Park in Charleston, S.C.

The Eagles are scheduled to play 19 games away from home to start the season, including an eight-game spring break trip that begins with a series at Kennesaw State (March 3-5). BC then takes on Tennessee (March 7), the number-one overall seed in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, and UNC Asheville (March 8) in the midweek. The eight-game, four-state trip wraps up with the ACC opening-series at Virginia Tech (March 10-12).

Boston College's first scheduled game within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is at Holy Cross (March 14) before a series at Florida State (March 17-19) and a short trip to Northeastern (March 21).

The Eagles' home opener is scheduled for March 22 at the Harrington Athletics Village against Sacred Heart. BC then hosts North Carolina State in its first ACC home series of the year.

The rest of the home slate features series against Georgia Tech (March 31-April 2), Duke (April 14-16), Clemson (April 28-30) and Notre Dame (May 18-20) to end the regular season. Additional road series include visits to Louisville (April 6-8), North Carolina (April 21-23) and Wake Forest (May 5-7).

The midweek schedule features 13 games against New England opponents. The Beanpot tournament semifinal is scheduled for April 4 with BC taking on Massachusetts at home. The championship game will be played at a site to be determined a week later on April 11.

Ahead of the Notre Dame series, Boston College has added a two-game set at home against Villanova (May 13-14) during its ACC off-week.

The 2023 ACC Baseball Championship is set for May 23-28 in Durham, N.C.
