Sigurdarson and Souza Earn All-ACC Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Seniors Stefan Sigurdarson and Victor Souza both earned All-ACC honors after a vote of the league's 12 head coaches. Sigurdarson was named to the All-ACC Second Team, while Souza was named to the Third Team.

Sigurdarson led the ACC in total goals (12) and points (25) this season, including his first career hat trick on Oct. 24. The senior closed the regular season ranked fifth nationally in total goals and 10th in total points.

The Icelandic striker closed his career in a tie with Brian Siracusa for third place all-time on the program's single-season goals list. His 28 career goals are tied with Charlie Rugg for sixth in program history and he ranks seventh all-time at BC in points with 64, eight behind Simon Enstrom.

Souza was recognized on the All-ACC Third Team for the second straight season. The defender started all 10 matches in which he appeared, playing the full 90 minutes in eight of those games. He closed his career with 48 starts and nearly 4,400 minutes played.
