» Boston College plays back-to-back road games for the first time this season when it visits Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 29 for a Noon ET kickoff.
» The Eagles are 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the ACC following a 43-15 loss at No. 13 Wake Forest on Oct. 22.
» The game will air nationally on the CBS Sports Network. Rich Waltz (play-by-play) and Aaron Taylor (analyst) are in the booth with Sherree Burress (reporter) on the sideline.
» Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 93.7 FM and 850 AM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and quarterback Scott Mutryn on the sideline.
» Boston College leads the all-time series with UConn, 12-0-2.
» In a home game on neutral ground for the Huskies, BC won the last meeting, 39-16, in 2017. Freshman AJ Dillon carried the ball 24 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns.
» The series started in 1908 with a 0-0 tie played in Storrs. Both ties in series history were scoreless with the other taking place in 1910.
» The two sides played eight times between 1908 and 1928 and did not take the field again until Connecticut elevated to FBS in 2000. Since then, BC has won all six contests.
» BC last played at UConn, its only trip to Rentschler Field, in 2003; the inaugural season of the stadium and its first sellout; a 24-14 Boston College victory.
» BC is 174-81-12 all-time against New England opponents and 34-3 since 1978, the first year the NCAA was subdivided into I-A and I-AA, having won 34 in a row. The last loss coming to Holy Cross in 1978.
