CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After their third off-day of training camp on Sunday, the 2026 Boston College Football team returned to the practice fields Monday morning for their tenth training camp session.
The running backs found their footing early in Monday's practice in the passing game, providing another element of the offense for the quarterbacks to utilize. Nolan Ray and Mekhi Dodd continued to bring the juice out of the backfield, breaking off several sizable gains in the run game as well.
The defense also picked up their intensity in stopping the run during Monday's practice, with defensive tackle Chuck Nnaeto finding his way into the backfield, forcing a fumble.
The passing game took another step in the right direction as Monday's practice progressed, as Mason McKenzie found wide receiver Javarius Green in the end zone before hitting Jaedn Skeete in the back corner of the end zone for a touchdown on back to back plays. Grayson Wilson also added a touchdown of his own to tight end Danny Edgehille.
The defense would raise their level of play towards the end of practice, limiting the offense to shorter and medium gains. Second-year cornerback Marcelous Townsend and Njita Sinkala notably broke up two passes during one of the final practice periods.
It was the offense that ended Monday's practice on top, with Grayson Wilson finding wide receiver Dawson Pough for a 30-yard touchdown towards the back pylon.
The Eagles will return to the practice field on Tuesday morning. Practices are closed to the public.
