Eagles and Wildcats Complete Regular Season Series in Sunday Matinee

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College hosts New Hampshire in Hockey East action on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matinee at Kelley Rink. The game will air live on ESPN+ and WEEI 850 AM. The schools will complete their two-game regular season series following a 4-2 Eagles victory at the Whittemore Center last Saturday night in the Hockey East opener.
LAST TIME OUT
• Boston College and No. 12 Northeastern skated to a 3-3 tie in a back-and-forth affair on Tuesday night in a non-conference game at Matthews Arena
• Freshman Cutter Gauthier scored his first collegiate goal in the third period during his NCAA debut to give the Eagles a short-lived 3-2 lead
• Juniors Trevor Kuntar and Colby Ambrosio lit the lamp in the second period
• Mitch Benson finished the night with 32 saves for Boston College
• Ambrosio and Kuntar both had quality chances during the 3-on-3 overtime session, but Devon Levi was able to deny both with timely saves
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
• The opening three games of the season have seen a lot of firsts for the Eagles
• Last Saturday in Durham marked Greg Brown's first win as The Schiller Family Head Hockey Coach and the first win by a BC coach not named Jerry York since 1994
• In addition to Cutter Gauthier's debut goal, rookie defensemen Lukas Gustafsson and Charlie Leddy each posted their first career assists in the Northeastern tie
• Mitch Benson posted his first win at the Whittemore Center last Saturday and his first 30-save performance on Tuesday at Northeastern
• Mitch Andres registered his first career multi-point game last Saturday at UNH
• Freshman Oskar Jellvik has assists in each of his first two collegiate games

• The schools will face off for the 164th meeting in the all-time series on Sunday
• Coming off its 80th win, Boston College leads the all-time series 80-67-16

• Matt Boldy's 44 career points through his first 50 NHL games have been topped by just two other U.S.-born skaters through their first 50 contests

• Kevin Hayes collected his 200th career assist for the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night
