» Boston College returns from its bye week to visit No. 13 Wake Forest on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3:30 p.m.
» The Eagles are 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the ACC following a 31-3 defeat to No. 5 Clemson on Oct. 8.
» The game will air nationally on ACC Network. Chris Cotter (play-by-play) and former BC linebacker Mark Herzlich (analyst) are in the booth with Lericia Harris (reporter) on the sideline.
» Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 93.7 FM and 850 AM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and quarterback Scott Mutryn on the sideline.
» Boston College leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 14-12-2; despite having lost back-to-back match-ups
» BC’s 2021 regular season ended with a 41-10 loss to No. 18/21 Wake Forest, which claimed the ACC Atlantic Division with the win.
» The Eagles last played at Wake Forest in 2018; a 41-34 win. Anthony Brown threw for five touchdowns and 304 yards, while AJ Dillon rushed for 185 yards. Defensive end Wyatt Ray set a BC record for sacks in a game with four.
» The 2018 match-up was slated for a primetime, Thursday night ESPN broadcast, but was pushed up to a 5:30 p.m. kickoff due to Hurricane Florence hitting the North Carolina coast.
» Since joining the ACC, the Eagles are 9-6 against the Demon Deacons. The two sides did not meet during the 15-team, one-division format implemented by the league for the 2020 season.
» Boston College is 31-120-1 all-time against opponents ranked in the top-25. The Eagles have lost 13 straight against ranked opponents; having beaten No. 25 Miami, 27-14, in 2018.
