ACC Announces Predicted Order of Finish & Preseason Honors

Eagles tabbed to finish 13th; Prince Aligbe received a vote for preseason Rookie of the Year
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College was picked to finish 13th on the 2022-23 ACC Men's Basketball Predicted Order of Finish. The poll was voted on by the 101 credentialed media members from the league's media Tipoff event held last week in Charlotte and was announced live on the ACC PM program on ACC Network.
North Carolina - the preseason number one ranked team in the country - tops the ACC poll, followed by Duke, Virginia, and Miami in the top four.
The Eagles open ACC play on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Duke. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium and the game will air live on ACC Network. BC hosts Virginia Tech on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 in the home ACC opener. The game will also broadcast live nationally on ACC Network.
Freshman Prince Aligbe received one vote for ACC Preseason Rookie of the Year. Duke's Dereck Lively II was tabbed as the league's top newcomer. North Carolina's Armando Bacot was selected as the conference's Preseason Player of the Year.
