The Eagles earned their first ACC win of the season on Thursday with a convincing 95-71 victory over Syracuse. BC used a 16-6 run with the game tied in the first quarter to take a commanding 25-15 lead going into the second period. BC hit a season-high 11 3-pointers, while four players scored in double figures.
Go Off Gakdeng
The freshman scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. Gakdeng also tied a personal high with nine rebounds. She is one of four true freshmen in the country to score at least 20 points, grab nine rebounds, and shoot 75 percent from the floor. She is the first BC freshman to score 20 points since 2018-19 when Marnelle Garraud, Taylor Soule, and Makayla Dickens all scored at least 20 points in at least one game that season. Over the last five games, the Lanham, Md., native is averaging 13.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and shooting 71.4 percent from the floor. Gakdeng has won ACC Freshman of the Week the last two weeks.

- Watch if the Eagles continue to push the tempo, where they are 6-2 when the pace is 75 or above. The Tigers are 1-6 this season when the pace of play is at 75 or higher.
- See if Boston College and force Clemson into mistakes, as the Tigers are 1-7 when they commit 17 or more turnovers.
- Watch if BC can build off its season-high 11 3-pointers against Syracuse. The Tigers are 2-6 when they allow eight or more trifectas.
- See if the Eagles can keep Clemson off the offensive glass. Clemson averages 15.4 offensive rebounds per game this season while recording 16.1 offensive rebounds in its six wins.
