Eagles Welcome Harvard to the Heights on Tuesday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College opens the month of February against Harvard at Kelley Rink on Tuesday night in a non-conference game at 7 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Nov. 26 but was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Live video is available for free at Collegesportslive.com. 
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles enter the matchup at 10-11-4 overall and 5-8-3 in Hockey East play, while the Crimson come in at 10-7-2 (8-5-2 ECAC)
• BC sits in eighth place in Hockey East, six points out of fifth for the final first round bye
• After a six-game unbeaten streak to close 2021, BC is winless in its first seven games of 2022
• Boston College and Harvard are meeting for the first time since the consolation game of the 2020 Beanpot, a 7-2 Eagles victory at TD Garden

• St. Ivany is sixth overall in the league with a +10 rating on the year
• The senior has at least one point in 14 of his 23 contests this season
• The Californian has only 10 penalty minutes combined over the last two seasons
TEAM USA
• Senior Marc McLaughlin and junior Drew Helleson have been selected to the 2022 United States Men's Winter Olympic Team, becoming the 26th and 27th U.S. Olympians in program history
• The squad will represent the U.S. at the 2022 Winter Olympics from Feb. 3-20 in Beijing, China
• BC has been represented in men's ice hockey at every Winter Olympics since 1984
• Team USA opens the tournament against the host China on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 8:10 a.m. (ET)
• The duo departed on Sunday for the Olympics and won't be with the team Tuesday
OH CANADA
• Jack McBain was officially named to Canada's Olympic Men's Hockey Team on Jan. 25 and will become the first Eagle to compete for Team Canada in men's ice hockey at the Winter Olympics
• The senior assistant captain is among 21 first-time Olympians on Canada's 25-man roster
• Team Canada will gather in Davos, Switzerland for an eight-day training camp will play a pre-tournament game against the Swiss on Tuesday before traveling to Beijing
• McBain will face McLaughlin and Helleson of Team USA on Friday, Feb. 11 at 11 p.m. (ET)
• The Toronto native has posted 24 points in 18 games this season to lead Hockey East in points per game, despite missing the last seven games due to injury
