Get to know Team 39 through our new series, Eagle Spotlight!
Hey BC Softball Fans!
My name is Hannah Slike and I am a freshman catcher from Chula Vista, California. I am currently studying in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and hope to become a Speech Pathologist. Though I am pretty far from home, I have been enjoying everything Boston has to offer. During the fall, I was able to go to a Red Sox game with my teammates, got to explore downtown, experienced my first Marathon Monday, and saw snow fall for the first time! Â
Boston College is truly an amazing place to be a student athlete and there are so many things I love and appreciate about the school! The softball facilities are amazing and I feel so blessed to call the Pete Frates Center my second home. Another one of my favorite things about campus is hearing the chapel bells ring when I am walking by Gasson Hall. In addition to the opportunity to join a great softball program, BC's emphasis on service to others made it the right place for me. This last semester our team was able to serve at Cradles to Crayons and our local elementary school which was one of my favorite memories with the team! I am looking forward to more opportunities to connect and help others during my time here at BC.Â
As the spring semester starts, I am so excited to get on the field and compete with my team. I hope to see you all at Harrington Athletic Village this season! Â
Go Eagles!Â
