Eagles Set to Take on Two Top 10 Teams in B1G/ACC Cup

BC will face No. 9 Maryland on Friday and No. 4 Northwestern on Sunday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The No. 7 Boston College field hockey team heads to Durham, N.C. to take part in the sixth annual B1G/ACC Cup.
The Eagles will take on No. 9 Maryland on Friday, Sept. 3 at 3 p.m. and No. 4 Northwestern on Sunday at 11 a.m. Both games will be played at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium at Duke and will air live on ACC Network Extra.
BC is off to a 2-0 start on the 2021 campaign, downing Quinnipiac and Maine last weekend.
Maryland is 1-0 on the season, opening 2021 with a 4-3 double overtime victory over No. 20 Saint Joseph's. Northwestern swept its opening weekend, downing No. 4 UConn, 4-0, before cruising past No. 21 Miami (Ohio), 6-2.
