Eagles Swept at Eastern Michigan

BC finished its non-conference slate 10-4 after three-game trip to Michigan.
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Boston College volleyball suffered a 3-0 sweep at Eastern Michigan to wrap up the non-conference portion of its schedule. The Eagles moved to 10-4 overall after starting the year 8-0. BC returns home on Wednesday for its ACC opener against Syracuse at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
The Eagles were narrowly defeated in each set byb scores of 25-23, 26-24 and 25-23. The EMU Eagles outhit the BC Eagles .281 to .226 for the match.
Graduate outside hitter Clare Naughton (Atlanta, Ga.) led all players with 16 kills on a .353 attack rate. She added nine digs; matching sophomore libero Anna Murphy (Zionsville, Ind.) for the team lead. Naughton now has 183 kills on nthe season annd 953 in her career as she aims to become just the 10th player in BC history to reach the 1,000-kill mark.
