Eagles Tie for Eighth Place at Team Race Nationals

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Boston College sailing earned a tie for eighth place with a 7-9 record at the 2021 ICSA Team Race National Championships, hosted by the Naval Academy. Navy won the team title with an overall record of 17-2.Â
Skippers Jack DeNatale, Robert Hunter and Colleen O'Brien and crew Michaela O'Brien, Elizabeth Russell, Emma Batcher, Declan McGranahan, Laura Ferraris and John Plavan competed for the Eagles, who finished 6-4 in their final 10 races.Â
BC finished tied with Tulane after going 1-1 against the Green Wave head to head.Â
The ICSA Coed National Championships will take place in Annapolis on Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8.
