Irish sweep Saturday doubleheader
In the first game, Notre Dame led 4-2 after five innings before the Irish exploded for six runs in the sixth to end it.
Ellie Mataya was 2-for-3 with a RBI and stolen base in game one for the Eagles.
In game two, the Irish scored seven runs in the first two innings to take control early. Notre Dame added three runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
The two teams close out the four-game series tomorrow at 12 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
