AS A JUNIOR (2020)
Appeared in 17 games with 15 starts … Batted .245 with two runs, four RBI and a double … Went 2/4 with a double and RBI against Elon on Feb. 22.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
Named an All-ACC second team honoree … appeared and started 52 of 53 games … second on the team in batting average (.321), hits (50) and total bases (65) … was a co-leader with teammate Gianna Boccagno with 24 RBI … finished the season with 10 multi-hit games, seven multi-RBI games and finished the season on a four-game hit streak … started 36 games at third, nine as the catcher and seven at designated hitter … went 5-for-6 vs. Michigan State with three RBI on Feb. 15 … went 4-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles in a win over Syracuse on March 24 … with two career seasons, Martinez is hitting .311, which is seventh on the all-time list for batting average.
