
Women's Track Finishes Up Strong at 2021 ACC Championship

Lauren White posts new PR in the 5,000m on Saturday
RALEIGH, N.C. — Boston College concluded competition at the 2021 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, held at the Paul Derr Track Facility on the campus of N.C. State.
During Saturday's final day of the championship, Lauren White posted a new PR in the 5,000m run, clocking 16:01.09. White finished ninth overall. Anna Oeser ran 16:15.31, good for 14th place.
In the relays, BC's 4x100m relay finished 10th (49.83), while the Eagles' 4x400m quartet clocked 3:50.72, also good for 10th place.
On Friday, Sarah Flynn clocked a personal-best 10:20.64 in the 3,000m steeplechase, placing 13th. Her time puts her among the qualifiers for the NCAA East Regional. Kylee Raftis was 18th, registering a time of 10:29.78, just off her season best.
Morgan Halt placed 12th in the heptathlon, compiling a personal-best score of 4293.
In the javelin, Alexandra McNeil was 12th (32.74m) while Gabriella Raia was 13th (28.67m). Isabella Bruno was 14th in the triple jump (11.70m). Marne Sullivan was 17th in the 800m (2:08.90). Kyla Krawczyk (57.91) and Sarah Heckel (58.24) each logged personal best times in the 400m.
In Thursday's action, Isabella Bruno finished 22nd in the long jump, with a personal best leap of 5.37m (17'7.5") to place 22nd in the long jump.
Jessica Creedon was 18th in the prelims of the 400m hurdles. Creedon clocked a time of 1:0344. Kyla Krawczyk was 22nd, logging a PR time of 1:03.84. Emma Kinney was the top Eagles' finisher in the 200m, registering a new PR of 26.41.
Lauren White ran 4:25.21 to place 18th in the opening rounds of the 1,500m. Paige Duca was 21st (4:29.21).
