Clemson’s Valerie Cagle tossed her second no-hitter of the week
CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 17 Clemson won the series finale 6-0 over Boston College on Sunday at McWhorter Stadium. Valerie Cagle tossed her second no-hitter of the week and struck out nine for the Tigers.

Clemson moved to 32-4 overall while BC fell to 8-25.

The Tigers scored one run in the first and second and used a pair of home runs in the fifth to plate four runs.

Boston College returns home to Harrington Athletics Village for five games next week. The Eagles host Merrimack Wednesday at 4 p.m. on ACC Network Extra before welcoming the Pitt Panthers to Brighton for a weekend, four-game series.
