
Eagles Finish Competition at Virginia Challenge

Marne Sullivan runs seventh-fastest 800m time in BC history
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Boston College women's track & field team finished up competition at the Virginia Challenge on Saturday.
Marne Sullivan ran 2:07.85 in the 800m, good for the seventh-fastest time in BC history. She placed 18th overall in the field. Katherine Mitchell ran 2:10.95, good for 27th.
Morgan Halt was fourth in the heptathlon, registering 4120 points for the multi-event. Jessica Creedon was 10th in the 400m hurdles, registering a time of 1:02.83.
In Friday's action, two Eagles posted personal-bests on the track. Lauren White was eighth in the 5,000m run, clocking a personal-best 16:06.16. Anna Oeser was 16th, crossing the line in 16:10.37.
Sarah Flynn finished ninth in the 3,000m steeplechase, clocking a personal-best time of 10:31.48. Kylee Raftis was 19th (10:44.01). Sorcha McAllister was ninth in the 10,000m, in a time of 34:30.24.
After day one of the heptathlon, Morgan Halt is in sixth place with 2597 points.
