Eagles' Top Team Goes Undefeated at St. Mary's of Maryland

ST. MARYS CITY, Md. – Boston College's first team went undefeated on Sunday as the Eagles picked up their first win of the 2021 spring season in a team racing regatta against St. Mary's of Maryland and George Washington.
The team of skippers Colleen O'Brien, Jack DeNatale and Robert Hunter and crews Michaela O'Brien, Laura Ferraris and Elizabeth Russell posted a 5-0 record on Sunday.
In fleet racing competition on Saturday, the Eagles' top team finished second overall, just five points behind GW. Freshman skipper Colleen O'Brien sailing with junior captain Declan McGranahan posted the top individual score for the Eagles, with three finishes in the top three over the seven-race series.Â
BC will compete again next weekend (March 12-14) at St. Mary's of Maryland.
