Eagles Win Team Race at St. Mary's Spring Fling Regatta

ST. MARYS CITY, Md. – Boston College's first team went 9-1 on Sunday as the Eagles posted their second straight team racing regatta victory against St. Mary's of Maryland and Old Dominion on the St. Mary's River.
The team of skippers Colleen O'Brien, Jack DeNatale and Robert Hunter and crews Michaela O'Brien, Jack Plavan and Nicole Moeder posted a near perfect record on Sunday. The second boat featuring skippers Charles Kreuzkamp, Isabella Gallo and Graham Ness and crews Lilly Mathieu, Elizabeth Russell and Emma Batcher finished fourth overall.Â
In fleet racing competition on Saturday, the Eagles' top team of Colleen O'Brien and Plavan finished second overall, while DeNatale and Michaela O'Brien placed third in the A Division. As a team, Boston College was just a single point behind St. Mary's.Â
BC will compete again at Connecticut College on Saturday, March 27 in New London.
